ONLINE SHOPPING... YAY OR NAY!!!

Good evening my people....

Guess your day was not as stressful as mine? Yup! I got your response (lol). I just arrived home and decided to write this to share with you my experience before I take a shower, climb my bed and watch my Yoruba film (smiles).

So straight to the talk of the day...

I'm not the type who's freaked about online shopping because I've been scammed before. Scammed? Umm...well yeah...whatever happened to me is one of those things I classify as scam. (Switching to Nigerian slang) one scammer scammed me one time like that back then in my university days. Since that incident, I have always prefered to go shopping with my two korokoro eyes where I can see my goods physically before paying. And let me quickly add I'm a 'shoe and clothes' freak. Though, I may feel I don't have enough but I'm grateful for the ones I have got.

So, my online story actually began from where I met this entrepreneur lady( she's an old friend of mine) who deals in ready-to-wears, shoes and bags. She was nice oh, I weee nor lie, kaiiii(in my voice). She even allowed me to pay small small. But you see, the issshhh with online shopping is you dont really know what you are paying for. It is what they buy that is your portion. She got me some pairs of lovely sneakers and etc (smiles) but what pissed me off was the bag- so freaking small (aye mi, my life). It was big inside the picture o, I mean fine and all, but the thing that is paining me is that I would have use the money to comfortably buy three  okrika bags and be happy- lerrus leave forming and all.

I buy boutique stuff and the stuff from [Amrica] if you know, you know... lol. But I was just not happy with the bag, after all the wishing and daydreaming about carrying the bag sooo tehh people will tell me to chill. I had to console myself and decide that  laslas, it's purse I will be using it to do!!!
I just concluded after that occasion that I will be chilling from this online thing for a while now. Lesson learned.

Let me drop my mic here. But before I slip into my bath tub, tell me, have you ever gotten something on line that you had to return or use like that in good faith and collect your destiny[translate to Yoruba]? Do let me know your opinion. Feedbacks will be appreciated...

Mmuuaahh! Thanks a bunch for reading. You know I lurrh you right?? Sweet dreams fellas.
XOXO

  1. Lol... I totally understand what you feel about online shopping right now but I think you should give it a try again. Only that this time around, please use a trusted online store. Jumia is totally out of the picture. They would disappoint you a million and one times.

  3. It has been a sweet bitter experience for me, but I have never gone wrong with shoes except this one time that size 9 look like size 7. I was so busy around that time that I couldn't go to the post office to get it sent back and it was already more than their return policy date by the time I was chanced. I had to donate it to charity. Shirt and trousers or anything else are no no for me with online shopping even if it's a reputable company, I will prefer going to their store to check it out. Although, I have heard positive reviews from people around me but I don't
know what I did for them. Anyways, nice write up πŸ‘

Eyinbo say even if you purchase Jumia on Jumia dey will bring u Jamiu. Taink u
